Extruded Tube

Tube in coil, buis op rol, geperst

Tubes are extruded on vertical presses. Vertical presses normally have a limited capacity size wise.

Vertical direct extruded tubes in coils are mainly produced for the heating and cooling industry, but also for solar panels.

Horizontally extruded tubes can be produced with four welding seams on a bridge die, or seamless on a floating mandrel.

There are endless qualities on the market, but most manufacturers comply with the international standards:

EN 12020-2:2008, 754 and 755

Aluminium Tube

For the production of aluminium tubes a number of techniques are used:

- Vertical direct extrusion, tubes in coils

                             (Exceptionally also drawn)

- Horizontal extrusion, tubes in cut lengths

- Bridge die extrusion and cold drawing

- Mandril, seamless extrusion and cold drawing

- Seamless, cold drawing in lengths

- HF-Welded tubes in lengths

The product is available, extruded and drawn to close tolerances, in most shapes and sizes from 5 to 220 mm diameter.

There are endless qualities on the market, but most manufacturers comply with the international standards:

EN 12020-2:2008, 754 and 755

Extruded tubes may be sold as such, or are processed in the drawing division to closer tolerances. MP Non Ferro offers precision tolerances on the inside or outside diameter, combined with the wall thickness.

The product is available, extruded and drawn to close tolerances, in most shapes and sizes from 3 to 60 mm diameter.

There are endless qualities on the market, but most manufacturers comply with the international standards:

EN 12020 series; EN 755 Series; DIN 1795:1987-02; DIN EN 754-7:1998-10; DIN EN 754-7:2008-06

HF-gelast, HF-welded tube, buis

High Frequency Welded Tubes are produced from rolled strip in coil in alloys, designed for the application of the final product.

The strip  is formed on a roller set, then electrically welded, calibrated in the second half of the roller set, finished and cut to length. Using pre-anodised strip provides already protected tubes.

The product is available in many sizes, shapes and finishes from 6 to 76 mm diameter.

There are endless qualities on the market, but most manufacturers comply with the international standards:

EN 12020-2:2008, 754. Tolerances for final sizes are to be established.
